Graduates were at the West Fraser Centre Friday to accept their diplomas and have their friends and families celebrate their achievement.
Grads walked into the centre to the sound of Indigenous drummers. First Nations councillors, Elders and chiefs were there to congratulate the graduates.
Seats were reserved for three students from the grad class who passed away before reaching their graduation day. Their families went on stage to accept the students' certificates.
At the end of the ceremony students did the traditional throwing of the caps before exiting the arena to take photos with their families, friends and teachers in their caps and gowns.
