Last weekend did not go exactly as planned for the Quesnel Thunder midget hockey team as they faced the 100 Mile House Miners for the right to represent the Cariboo at the provincial championships. The Thunder hosted the Miners for the first two games of their best-of-three series last weekend, and came away with a loss and a win. The 5-4 win came thanks to a goal by Josh Mack in double overtime with assists going to Graeme Rubisch and Cole Thibault.
